Privacy policy
Last updated 3 November 2026
In short: Loopcut does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The developer cannot see anything you add.
What stays on your iPhone
Your subscriptions — names, prices and dates — are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
Screenshots, photos and messages
When you choose a screenshot, take a photo, paste a message or share something into Loopcut, it is read on your iPhone using Apple's on-device text recognition and, where available, Apple Intelligence's on-device language model. The image or text is not stored and is never uploaded. Account numbers and one-time passwords are masked before the on-device model reads a message.
Permissions
- Photos — only the image you pick, only to read it.
- Camera — only when you take a photo to import; the photo is not saved.
- Notifications — reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push server is involved.
Network use
Loopcut connects to the internet for one thing: when your subscriptions are in more than one currency, it downloads daily exchange rates from frankfurter.dev (European Central Bank data). The request contains only currency codes, such as INR and USD. No personal or subscription data is sent.
Links such as "How to cancel" open the service's own website in your browser; that website's privacy policy applies there.
Children
Loopcut does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
